Home in the Shopify left nav asked me to log in

That was a v1.6.4 bug. Shopify's left-nav Home control loaded /app as a document request without shop or host and without the App Bridge session token header. authenticate.admin then sent the iframe to /auth/login. The shop-domain form ran inside the iframe, and accounts.shopify.com refused to connect.

v1.6.5 registers Home with App Bridge (NavMenu plus rel="home") so the click stays a client navigation. If /app still arrives without params, Invenio recovers shop and host from the referer or host param. If /auth/login is opened inside the admin iframe, Invenio bounces to the top-level admin app URL instead of showing the login form.

The app opens a blank page after I click a filter or link

Stay inside Invenio's nav and in-page filters. Those keep the Shopify shop and host query params. A raw bookmark to /app without those params, or a GET form that drops them, can open a blank 200 page in the embedded app.

Search Console says 403 or Google will not open

Do not expect Google to load inside the Shopify iframe. Use Connect Search Console on Rankings. It opens a new window, or the top window if the popup is blocked. The callback is /auth/gsc/callback and must be listed on the Google OAuth client.

If the Connect button is missing, GSC_CLIENT_ID and GSC_CLIENT_SECRET are not set on the host.

Search Console shows the wrong site

Invenio lists every property on the Google account and selects the one that matches this store's primary domain. It does not take the first property. If the wrong site is stored from an older connect, open Rankings and click Change property. If no property matches the store domain, the dropdown appears until you pick one.

Generate or Optimize is blocked

You may have hit the monthly cap (350 Generate or 10 Optimize), selected 0 items, or selected more than 10. The error says how many remain. Quotas reset on the calendar month.

Drafts look like placeholders

Missing OPENAI_API_KEY stubs Generate and image alt. Missing NEURONWRITER_API_KEY stubs Optimize. The draft is marked stub. Review it before you approve.

Run now does nothing useful

Uncheck Pause workers. Save at least one keyword and one town. If a run is already running, wait for it to finish. Run now will not create NeuronWriter analyses; confirm those separately on Home or Blogs.

Scheduled posts were skipped

Build scheduled posts only writes topics that already have a ready NeuronWriter query. Create and confirm an analysis first. Also check the posts-per-month cap (max 4).

Schema is not on the storefront

Enable Invenio local SEO in the theme editor, App embeds, then save the theme. Saving toggles in Invenio is not enough if the embed is off. Invenio does not edit theme files.

Local page handle looks old

New pages use a clean handle without invenio. Opening Local pages or clicking Regenerate page renames older handles such as /pages/invenio-local-ringgold and adds a Shopify URL redirect to the new path. Invenio finds pages by metafield and database row, not by handle prefix.

Local page body shows markdown fences or the title twice

OpenAI sometimes wraps HTML in markdown fences and repeats the page title as an h1. New drafts strip those fences and drop a leading h1 that matches the title. Already drafted pages are not rewritten automatically. Open Local pages and click Regenerate page for that town (1 Generate credit).

Image alt on a product editor did not stick

Use the per-image Generate alt text button and wait for that card's Saved or error state. v1.6.4 writes that card immediately. Click Save if the editor still says Save is needed.

Rankings never shows positions

The daily DataForSEO rank check writes snapshots around 6:00 AM in the store timezone when credentials exist and Daily rank check is on. The Rankings tab does not fetch SERP on load. Use Check now (once a day) to seed target keywords and store positions. The host needs DATAFORSEO_LOGIN and DATAFORSEO_PASSWORD (or a store override), a monthly DataForSEO cap with room left, and tracked keywords. Serper still works if DataForSEO is not set.

Product filters ignore my tag

Choose the tag from the Tag select or the tag search field. The list filters in the page. v1.6.4 applies that filter immediately and keeps you in the embedded app.

Refresh formatting emptied a blog article

v1.6.8 could wipe a v1.6.7 refreshed article when the Pixabay hero was Shopify article.image and the credit sat in a trailing paragraph. v1.6.9 refuses empty or shorter-than-50% writes. If Invenio stored the original generated HTML (posts built on v1.6.9 or later), use Restore article. Older posts such as Fruit Wine at Georgia Winery in Ringgold, GA were not stored and must be rebuilt.

Help chat is missing

The floating Help button always shows a link to this guide. The chat box appears only when the host has N8N_DOCS_CHAT_WEBHOOK_URL. If chat is on and a question fails, the panel shows the error from the app. You can still open /docs.
